Swimming pools are communal places and yet also offer a space of solitary and meditative activity.

This project is exploring the choreographic edges of swimming in the blue architectural grid of the pool as an immersive acoustic environment – in relation to gravity and sensation and surface – to iterations of lane (back and forth), spinal twist (right and left) and breath (in and out) – and above and below.
